So for a short time I'd like to offer my services to do affordable portraits. I'm just looking for something to keep myself busy and to bring a little cash in.
8'x10' Single person or animal, black and white(charcoal) portrait - $30
8'x10' Single person or animal, colored pencil portrait - $50
For each additional person or animal add $10
For any other size or medium I will discuss my regular prices with you.
I work in colored pencil, or charcoal. I can also work in Photoshop and InDesign if you like the idea of a pop art look.
The images shown are examples of the quality of work you can expect. If you want anything larger or more detailed just let me know and I can discuss that with you.
Prices do not include matting, framing, or shipping.
So, if you're by any chance interested, send me a message or email with what you'd like and if you aren't in my area we'll figure out shipping.
It was just your average art blog, until it died. Now I'm resurrecting it with the hope of also resurrecting my creativity.

Day 10.2
Couldn't not draw again... oops.
When I was in High School ages ago, we had to do at least one self portrait a class. It was required regardless which art teacher you had. They always said that it's the best way to see how much you've progressed as an artist. You can't really argue that the reference was bad, or that you don't have an image of the reference for the class to see. It's been.... eh.... 3 years since my last real self portrait? So I had the boyfriend take a picture, put the timer on one hour, and whipped out the charcoal.
